RS/Tuono 457 engines are mechanically detuned using a low lift intake cam.
Ex cam lift 9mm while IN cam only lift 7mm.
Our intake race billet cam solves that issue and gives back a huge power gain at top rpm.
Cam is totally drop-in: fits like stock, using stock timing. Valve clearances may need to be adjusted. Engine still idles perfectly.
FREE 168euro worth upmap map coupon card, to download the specific map from the Upmap catalog.
NOTE1: the use of the specific upmap map is mandatory: due to the extra air flow, extra fuel is needed... like 12-15% more fuel at top end. That cam can't be used on tunes made for stock engines.
NOTE2: it’s advisable to replace timing chain tensioner with a new fresh unit, even better if using the 2026 OEM updated tensioner or an aftermarket manual tensioner.

FAQ
Does the cam require different cam timing?
No. The cam is designed to fit like the original component and uses the stock cam timing.
Do the valve clearances need to be adjusted?
They may need to be checked and adjusted during installation.
Is a dedicated ECU map mandatory?
Yes. The specific UpMap map is mandatory because the increased airflow requires approximately 12-15% more fuel at high RPM.
Can this cam be used with a map developed for the stock engine?
No. It cannot be used with ECU tunes developed for the standard intake cam.
Is an UpMap map included?
The kit includes a coupon card worth €168 for downloading the specific map from the UpMap catalog.
Should the timing chain tensioner be replaced?
Replacement with a new tensioner is advisable. The updated 2026 OEM tensioner or an aftermarket manual tensioner is recommended.
